This pertains to you if:
1. Set the system paths in the windmail_test.pl script and put your email address in the windmail_test.txt file. 2. Upload these files in ASCII format to your cgi-bin. 3. Point your browser at the script, wait about 1 or 2 minutes, then check your email. Example: http://www.YourName.com/cgi-bin/windmail_test.pl 4. If you received an email then set Host Variable #6 in the vars.dat file with the correct system path to Windmail and the cart will be able to send out email receipts through Windmail. 5. If you didn't get an email from Windmail, then forward these instructions to your host and ask them to prove that Windmail is working when called from a CGI Perl script. Your host may modify the windmail_test.pl script any way they feel is necessary to demonstrate (prove) that Windmail is working when called from a CGI Perl script. 6. After your host gets Windmail working, set Host Variable #6 in the vars.dat file with the correct system path to Windmail and the cart will be able to send out email receipts through Windmail. 7. After your host proves that Windmail is working, if you need any help setting Host Variable #6 in the vars.dat file, let us know. |
